Fast, dangerous, and juicy combat alternates with searching for equipment stashes that you can use in your next lives, and worldbuilding in the form of logs. In SIG, the minimalist neon outline presentation contrasts with its dark setting and Lovecraftian horror, allowing the player’s imagination to fill in the details. The game features a unique form of permadeath, where you keep items in your inventory that were not equipped when you die. This blends well with the main drive of the game, which is exploration and getting to know your enemy.
