Casual Game Engine will soon be released!
Casual Game Engine is a 2D singleplayer game engine to simply create top-down shooter games. The game code consists of entities which are coded using the famous gamedev scripting language AngelScript!
You can use the builder GUI to quickly create a new game project. Games can also be connected to Steam supporting Workshop for mods and Achievements.
It does also support localization and has many other features.
With the GUI builder you can either create an empty project or create from template. The current template is called Casual Pixel Warrior in where you play a tiny soldier who fights opponents to reach his goal when he has defeated all of them. You can collect gold, weapons, healthpacks and have to avoid obstacles.
It will most likely be released on Halloween!
