I wanted to get back into writing game music (like I really ever stopped…) and figured what better way to start than with my favourite things. So I wrote a short (22 tracks) but somewhat comprehensive RPG soundtrack, vaguely in the style of the FF games of my youth, which I now offer to creators here. The inspiration was obviously RPG music but some of the tracks could work perfectly well in other genres.
Included are dungeon themes, town themes, battle themes, various moods for characters/places, victory fanfare and game over and more. Tunes are referenced and shared between tracks, e.g. happy/sad versions, Main Theme also used in the Airship theme etc….

This is my first music pack I’m posting here, I someone finds it useful and inspiring! and I hope to post more.
(There’s also even an accompanying sheet music album, since that was such an important part of my getting to know game music back when, for those who are interested.)
