Hello everyone,
Today I am releasing PixelLand. It is a massive multi-user online pixel-art canvas, essentially a gigantic pixel graffiti wall for the internet. I made it because I wanted to experiment with online multiplayer experiences, and I am curious to see what people will do with it.
I decided to make the canvas truly gigantic, more than 150 million pixels. PixelLand is a sprawling frontier and everyone will be able to find their own space to participate.
PixelLand is inspired by Reddit’s r/place and Mr.doob’s Multi-User Sketchpad.
