Hello Everyone! I recently almost finished working on my Visual Novel called “Bottoms Up!”. The game was going to serve as an adaptation to my fantasy novel with the same name, which was written around 2016. I have always wanted to make movies, animations, books or games, but only could afford writing (basically free :D), so now I am trying to take the book to another medium.
I would say the story of the game is not really typical for the Visual Novel genre. Simply put – it`s a supernatural crime story in a mostly funny, but sometimes grim fantasy world. It has some elements of parody of fantasy tropes as well as some motifs similar to Bulgarian/slavic folklore.
The visual novel is in BETA now. All the illustrations and the music are done, I am only missing some sound effects, which are coming soon.
This PART 1 covers around 1/5 or the story of the book. I am planning to make the other parts if this game meets some player`s interest.

Story summary:
If you were to ask any of Artheleron Hudins fellow villagers, you would surely hear them say that he “looks before he leaps”. After all he did have his entire veteran pension and he lived in a nice little place in a tidy little house, which didnt even belong to him to begin with. Not only that but he still had hair where it mattered most. Truth be told, apart from all these blessings Hudin also enjoyed as much alcohol as he liked and even managed to keep on running a secret trade with an old friend of his. And had no intention of dying soon, since he was immortal. But it wasn’t all roses to him. The shack he was given on a flexible term because of his previous military service was in a dire need of renovation. Additionally, due to the essence of his immortality, he no longer lived to drink and rather drank to live. Not to mention that things go sideways when his business partner is accused of murder. Hudin is now forced by the local authorities to find his friend and deal with him. An that, to put it mildly, is how he is dragged out of retirement…
