In this light horror RPG, you take the role of Shio, a traveler who gets stranded at an old Japanese bath house in the middle of a snowstorm. Short on cash and with no other options, you’re roped into helping a reporter investigate the strange happenings and rumors of hauntings around the old inn, searching for the truth behind the rumors and trying to stay alive in the process.
A bit of a love letter to Japanese folklore and urban legends, many of the encounters range from well known Japanese spirits to more obscure creatures. With the exception of the title screen and game over theme, the game features an entirely custom OST as well as custom enemy graphics, with an emphasis on exploration and problem solving to handle each unique encounter, some through combat and others through interacting with the environment.
The demo includes the first two floors of the inn, ending in the third floor hub.
