Killing Floor was, itself, once a Total Conversion mod that later made the jump to a standalone commercial title, one which kickstarted the careers of many at Tripwire Interactive, who enjoy success to this day. Mods have come full circle once more with The Invictus Files: Ridgewood, a conversion tapping more into KF’s horror style.
