Use this ruleset to make your players feel heroic as their mow through throngs of foes. GMs can use these rules to keep track and simplify complex battles. The rules are designed to be fast and balance the supremacy of area attacks over.
Hordes combine their efforts into a single action that has increased effectiveness based on the number of foes within a single horde.
The rule integrates with any system that has player characters dealing points of damage. It does so by having the resilience of a horde of foes be represented by a hit point threshold that if incoming damage exceeds removes members from the horde.
