The Call of Cthulhu: The Interactive Adventure is a digital interactive story or text adventure game made with Twine.

You will take a crucial role in the narrative, your decisions will affect the fate of the other characters and eventually, the final outcome.

This work is based on H.P Lovecraft’s The Call of Cthulhu (1926). The tale will be completely rewritten in a more approachable pure prose style but it will still remain a faithful adaptation of the source material. It will feature multiple endings for the main character (you) and it will explore and further expand the lore of The Cthulhu Mythos.

This will be available for free once I finish it, I would like to have your thoughts and suggestions, also note that I rewrote the story but English is not my native language, so if you find errors regarding grammar or if it feels weird to read at some parts please let me know and please tell me how I can improve it.

Some features I want to include in the final version:
– Various possible endings for the player character
– Major decisions shape the final outcome, minor decisions affect the world and characters
– A hidden system tracking stats. When certain requirements are met, special events are activated, adding more flavour and variation to the story path.

I love writing, gaming, interactive narrative design and of course everything Lovecraft related so when I finish this project I would like to continue adapting the rest of the stories, at least the classic, most popular ones to form a collection for people to enjoy for free.
