This past weekend, my friends and I participated in our first game jam, Ludum Dare 46, with the theme of “keep it alive”.
In Capybaba you play as a capybara named Capy, whose goal is to keep Super Baby alive. You’ll encounter evil shadow babies, which you can take out by hurling Super Baby at, Angry Birds style.
We had influence from games such as Yoshi’s Island, Owlboy, and Who’s Your Daddy. I think it’s most similar to Yoshi’s Island, except you throw the baby instead of eggs!
I’m super happy with the product of our game jam, and I couldn’t be more proud of my team.
